The funny and talented Dora Bryan is no longer with us.
I hope she gets her wishes.

As well as being a first rate comedienne Dora starred in the classic "Taste of Honey". I guess most people remember her as Dolly in Absolutely Fabulous.

Oh that is sad news.

She was a real trouper, and go do high kicks right into her eighties.

Loved her in A Taste of Honey, she had the feckless mother down to a tee.

As two of the Beatles have gone before her - she may get her Christmas wish.

Loved her in taste of Honey. And so funny in other roles.

The obit. in The Times today was very interesting. It seems she had quite a troubled life.

She lost three babies, was addicted to prescription drug, was depressed at varying stages in her life, and booked herself into AA.

However, she had a long, enduring happy marriage until her husband died after 54 years of wedded bliss.

A very talented lady, and very underated in my view.

Who can forget her in the Carry On films?

She was GP, she was working in the NAAFI and went googled eyed over Kenneth Connor.

I think she may have been in a St Trinian's film too.
