Thank you and I love the saying,being Romany I have some wonderful sayings akin to my folk using them -they are fast disappearing from use,in the 70`s I started to write the sayings(and meanings of ) down.
It would be nice to have a section on this site which we could contribute our sayings too -who knows Dermot they may brighten someones day up -
just has yours has done for me :-)

will take your advice
has I said a lot of the info was collected whilst I worked has an archivist/researcher.
So have decided to do free lookups ,not only to help people financially but also to keep the old grey matter ticking :-D

Hello everyone ,not sure if this is the right place to post!!

I have a database of information(name index -births,marriages/deaths/census/stopping places/photos/details of gatherings for horse fairs etc etc ---relating to Romany Gypsies dating back to the mid 1700`s if I can be of any help with researches then please get in touch
