Its "International Tiger Day" :-)

Such beautiful creatures of natural creation.
Many are poached and killed to make various types of medicines, it is so tragic.
Do these medicines work at all? I don't know, but would hazard a guess at NO.

Mind you I am a little biased I find cats fascinating and sort of spiritual in a way.
I like all cats really, from that perishing cheeky Ginger Tom from door to the majesty of the mighty Plains Lions.
Just thought I would share a couple of images with you.

To celebrate Tiger Day, a tiger at Australia Zoo bit a keeper!

Australia Zoo, at Caloundra in Queensland..... started by Steve "Crikey" Irwin, known as the Crocodile Hunter.

The keeper is in hospital with a "small" bite to his leg, the story went on to say that the tiger is well.

:-D

The story is here:

I see you are using Bing search engine as I do as well ...
To shorten the link to stop it stretching the board this is what I do.
On the video menu bar between the cog and the full screen you will see the You Tube logo.
Click on that and it will take you to the same video but on You Tube`s official site.
You can then cut & paste the url from there its much shorter.
Hope this helps matey.

Dozens of items containing parts of endangered tigers are being seized by border officials at UK ports and airports, figures show.

Most seizures involve ground tiger bone, which is used in traditional Chinese medicines. Other objects include a tiger claw pendant, two tiger claws and items identified as “tiger tissue samples”.

Seizures by Border Force officials also include more than 50 items classified as “patches containing tiger bone”, believed to be used for treating ailments including arthritis.
