Ann - I suppose it's because they put the colour on dry hair, and they like to cut it wet :-D

Barb - in my young days, I had every colour from platinum, through bright red, to jet black, even green (though that was an accident!! ) :-D :-D ;-)

My hair is quite thick anyway....I might google some products and see the reviews.

GinN

GinN Report 30 Jul 2014 21:13

I often wonder why hairdressers colour your hair, and THEN cut it afterwards - seems pointless! :-D :-D

GinN

GinN Report 30 Jul 2014 21:10

Hasn't thinned mine :-0 - though I've never had very thick hair.

GinN

GinN Report 30 Jul 2014 21:08

When mine goes all white, I'll stop having it coloured. Mine is a multicoloured grey, not nice. :-(

Ann - don't let me put you off - my disasters were mostly of the redhead kind :-D :-D

BarbinSGlos Report 30 Jul 2014 21:05

Let it be natural , I have known many *older women * who have spent a fortune and ended up with thin lifeless hair, soooooo aging and it looks fake toooooooo

Just saying :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
