Annie's song..... lovely....... probably the only John Denver song I like :-)

It was sung at my brother's wedding, really nice...... I don't know if they played it again when they got divorced :-D

‘Make it with you’ the first track. Luv it!
Thanks so much for posting this link, Susan.
Such Memories!

Bread - a really great group. Larry Knetchel was a gifted multi-talented musician - he died about five years ago - who worked so much of his musical life with Duane Eddy.
The two were the very best of friends.

Leader David Gates was also an extremely talented person.
Long before Bread he also wrote and produced for Duane Eddy.
David’s 1963 composition ‘Blowin’ Up a Storm’ can be heard here:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3FGaAIANGs

Apart from the ‘Twang’ of Duane, the backing group make all the right noises to give the impression of bad weather. (Methinks, anyway!)

BTW, the golden-blonde Guild guitar on the cover that Duane played I actually had around MY neck in 1963. Truthfully.
You would NOT believe just HOW HEAVY it was. Wow!
