Thanks for your replies. I have looked on Facebook but it only gives information about the group holidays and activities, I was hoping for first hand experience. I drive and live close to two areas so this wouldn't be a problem and I could always stay in a B&B if an event was further afield.

It might be best to find out if there are local activities or indeed any members close by.
Ask yourself if you can easily travel to events which are 'out of area'.

Hi
I am a widow in my sixties and thinking of joining the Cornwall Social Group and as the yearly membership is quite expensive I am wondering if it is worth joining. Are you a member or know someone who is and yours or their experiences of it. How many times a year they get together, places they go, are the people friendly etc. I have looked at their website and there is as lot of information on it, but it would be nice to hear from anyone who is a member.
