I recently had the 20% off message. I have the platinum membership as I am still building my tree. And I had intended to renew anyway. But decided to check out that offer by logging out & seeing what the current annual platinum fee is.

I can confirm that, for me, the renewal price was indeed 20% off.

Go into your account and click on 'subscription detalis', it should tell you there.

Come to think of it, having a 2008 membership number you are probably on a 6 monthly sub which could be approx £7.96 or £12 all depending on whether your name was picked out or not.

I forgot I changed mine to annual after they tried to up my subs

Thanks Jax & Rambling Rose for your replies, I'll get onto the support group, if I'm expected to pay the £15.96 I don't think I'll bother, always paid the much lower rate, and not doing much research now as busy with other interests.
Thanks again.

It depends , it may be 20% off the full price standard sub, or it may be 20% off the sub price you have always paid... only GR knows :-) ( members are still paying different prices though GR says they are switching everyone gradually to the current tariff)

There is no set price for GR standard members.... They make it up as they go along

But looking at your membership number it's probably £15.96 after discount

Do you have renew at the top of the page? If so click on it and it will tell you

Hi everyone,
Don't come on here very often these days, retirement finds me busier than ever.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please. Genes have notified me to say my subs are due on 14th Aug, as a valued customer etc they're offering me a 20% discount (very nice) but 20% off what? They've not said what they expect me to pay?

Anyone know how to contact them (I'm having a senior moment here), or can you tell me what a standard member's suppose to pay.
Many thanks, (Will be back later)
