It would be interesting to know how much of the cost in £££ is going to the charities, and how much the manufacturer is keeping back as profit. You can't expect him to have supplied them at cost.

They do look fantastic, but I'm not willing to pay £25 for one.

from the site ......................

Hand made in Paul Cummins' studio, poppies are available for £25.00 +p&p. All net proceeds plus a guaranteed 10% from every poppy sold will be shared equally amongst six service charities, which we hope will raise millions of pounds if all poppies are sold. Poppies will only be available to purchase throughout the duration of the installation. The Tower Poppies are being sold by Paul Cummins Ceramics Bloodswept Lands and Seas of Red Limited with the support of Historic Royal Palaces see the T&Cs for more information.

-------------------

I see that only net proceeds plus 10% are going to the charities .................. that may or may not add up to "millions of pounds"

-----------------
NOTE:- .............. I read in the MailOnLine last week ................. that Paul Cummins' is NOT making all the poppies himself .............. he has trained others to make them for him. Each one takes 3 days.

Has anyone else bought one?

I have 3 lost in WW1

I will not be able to get to see them-so have just bought one (online)

It will be dispatched after the exhibition closes at the end of the year

Money all goes to Forces charities
