Researching:
I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

I have passed that ship many times over many years. As an ex merchant seaman I always thought it was a sad end for a grand old lady.
It did go very dilapidated looking at one time.

Didn't know the history of this ship.
Passed it many times and knew it as the FunShip.
Often go near to it as It's near to,Abakhan which is a good place to buy all sorts of materials.
There is a lot of money wasted on projects,that end up as eyesores or white elephants.

Have passed this ship many times on the North Wales coast but never knew this.

The Duke of Lancaster is the last passenger only steam turbine ship left in existence. She is listed on the Historic Ships Register.
