You can get the same size screen (used) on eBay for around £ 30 with a little effort. The key to getting a budget screen is not to worry about response time which only interests gamers and not be put off by only VGA or VGA/DVI inputs. Converters are less than £5 anyway.

Like it or not the days of the 1072x768 and 1440x900 screen are over. (Proof: s/hand these screens are a tenner. )

Designers of web sites tend to go with whatever the current sweet spot is. Right now if you have an old low res screen then you will be dancing around to see the whole show. OTOH those with very large screens have all kinds of problems making stuff visible!

I don't think £ 92 is a "tidy sum" allowing for inflation it is about a fiver in 1975 money (when today's pensioners were working) and nobody in 1975 thought a fiver was a "tidy sum" lol. I was earning about £ 50/week and it was def. not at all tidy judging by my overdraft.

I wish my grandchildren thought £ 92 a "tidy sum" lol.

As it is the price of flat screen monitors ( and TVs ) has crashed. Be happy.

Rollo, a bit insensitive that comment.
To some of us OAP`s £92 is a tidy sum. ( and indeed so to others on restricted budgets)
Or would you suggest us OAP`s etc do not warrant having internet if we find it a tad "expensive".

Many "options" do not apply to pensioners and those on low incomes, :-P

I find pressing ctrl and while holding ctrl down pressing + or - saves spending money :-)

Another option of course would be to buy a decent sized screen they are not expensive.

eg: 22in £ 92 new

Another way to find the Save button is to keep pressing the Tab key
until Save is highlighted (or brighter). The Tab key isn't
always marked as 'tab' though, but instead has
two arrows on it pointing in opposite directions.

But you may need to alter the size of the page to see the save button.

I use a zoom of 125% and the save button does not appear. When I decrease the size of the zoom to 100% or less, the save button is there.

I alter the size of zoom by clicking on the cog on the top right hand side of the screen

You click on the person on your tree and underneath the person you will see an edit button click on this and the side panel on the right opens and that's where you can alter or add facts.
BUT.. you MUST remember to click on Save at the very bottom of the side panel when you have finished editing etc.
