The temp got to 20C today, but it was verrrrrry windy. Tomorrow won't be a beach day, the wind won't be as severe, but rain and a max of 15 is predicted. brrrrrrrrrr

Look at my avatar..... that's our local beach. When we go for a walk, even on weekends, we might see a max of 10 people, and we know them all :-D

The town we live in is hidden in the trees.

No beach close to me, But the Bush is around 1Km away, so we get all sorts of strange creatures wandering in, like Foxes where we give them a meal, and Rosellas not sure where their nesting, many Magpies which can be nuisance.
I would prefer your area, always loved the seafront.
Oh my temp went from 0c to 13c today.

All fixed :-D

I couldn't find marbles anywhere (I'm still wondering if kids play with them now).

I had a rummage in the cupboards..... found a box of glass "sweets" that belonged to my Mother (they look like wrapped sweets) and a strange arrangement of silk flowers someone gave me ages ago.

Pulled the floral thingie to bits & kept the large roses (a pale apricot colour).

The glasses are now filled with the glass beads, glass sweeties & silk flowers. They don't look too bad with the lights on them.

The awful white marbles I bought are now in a box, in the cupboard with the vases :-)

I used to have lots of candles outside, but we have so many plants (in pots) it was getting dangerous. The solar lamps are a safer (and cheaper) option.
