Im looking for my mother, ive found her on here and sent a message is there any otherway I can find more details e.g brothers sisters place of residence??

Look to see if she married,and use that name to search the electoral listing on this site,which can be found using the Search tab far right,Credits will be needed to see full electoral entry.......hopefully you wont be up against a common surname.

I know she remarried and her surname is more common than you can imagine how would I know if she has opened the message

Look in your 'sent messages' box. An unread message (PM) has an envelope icon next to it.
If it has been opened, the icon is no longer there

If you need help with other routes to find your mother, then start a thread on Living Relatives.

I had a lot of help when I started a thread on Find living relatives, I am waiting to update the thread when the person is ready to make contact but have spoken to her mother and she is supporting the young woman while she makes up her mind whether she wants to be in touch or not.
