Actually it was Phyllosan that fortified the over forties.

I was hoping to find a video of a Sanatogen Tonic Wine advert on the web but could only find a set of stills for Sanatogen products.

Thanks AnnC, but I only seem to remember the S ad. From about 50 years ago, with ' S steadies the nerves'. It tickled me to learn many years later about alcohol in S.

Btw, is Sanatogen some sort of alcohol? I seem to remember this being advertised many years ago when I lived in the UK. The ad. Showed a woman being a bit upset (not too sure if that was the case) and looking very perky again after drinking some S,the jingle was ' Sanatogen steadies your nerves' repeated twice.
