When I was a small child and poorly in bed, I used to beg for the radio to be brought to me. Workers' Playtime, Have A Go, Educating Archie and the Afternoon Play....all aided me in my recovery. :-D :-D |

Eileen apparently the answer to your first question is English comedian Ken Platt used this phrase in his radio comedy shows during the mid-1950s. But I am non the wiser as I don't remember that one. :-D |
