I just Googled

weather new hampshire september

and got the following site ..................

http://www.currentresults.com/Weather/New-Hampshire/temperature-september.php

there is a listing down the right side of the screen where you can click on month by month.

In October ................. night temps in New Hampshire are going to be down around +5C to -4C

There are 2 tables ........... 1 for Southern NH and 1 for Northern NH

very easy to use :-)

and much simpler than the limited knowledge that we all have of these areas

If you are following Sylvia's advice, you may have to decide where the nearest city is.

I think I used to use Weather Watch or similar for the US. Many package holiday brochures will give the average temps rainfall etc.

why not Google, and get the temperatures range for each month .......... and the forecasts for the upcoming months :-)

October could be pushing it a little.

But try Googling ................... that's what I do when we are going anywhere :-)

I have been to New England when the leaves were changing, the most beautiful colours. Loved it. :-)

September/October is the best time to visit New Hampshire to see the autumn foliage, the colours are absolutely magnificent. Weather is cool but not cold and no snow. July and August can be hot.

Don't know about Iowa, I'm too far away from there.

Hi ZZzz,

I think July/August are still considered Summer. September/October will be Autumnal.. Should be cooler but not cold, the way the weather is worldwide now, I could be totally wrong....
