Im wanting to go to the Aviation Centre GiN was hoping to go last year but weather was really bad .......... :-)

They've gone for the moment, but OH is in the garden, keeping me posted. They may fly over our house later, as they are off to Brighton next! :-D :-D :-D

My lovely GR Ex-Teacher and GCSE Exam Overseer friend has explained to me, that Grandson 1 has not failed English Language, but has had a low pass. She also says that there has been controversy over the marking of that this year!

He did say that no one he spoke to had done well in English Language, and that the teacher looked upset!

GRANDSON HAS DONE VERY WELL ...FOR HIM IT IS EXCELLENT!

I don't understand all the ins and outs of it all, as it's all changed and this is year 10 (form 4) So some are GCSEs in their entirety. Some are modules. Some are GCSEs to see if he qualifies to sit them next year.

So basically, he has
4 Grade C Science Results (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Science) probably Modules.
Grade B Pass in History in it's entirety yey!!!!
A* Leisure and Tourism Pass (module)
Grade C Pass English Literature
Grade C Pass Geography (possibly module)
Grade D Pass Welsh

He has not sat Maths yet. That will be November/ December.
EDITED.....HE HASN'T FAILED ENGLISH LANGUAGE, but a low pass but can resit.
His father and sister are both dyslexic, and that may have a slight bearing on this.

So all in all
