There is a Vulcan bomber at Wellesbourne airfield in Warwickshire. It doesn't fly, but a couple of times a year it does a "fast taxi" along the runway. It is certainly spectacular. This year they had a flying model Vulcan. I say model, but it is huge, and when flying looks (and sounds) just like the real thing. Bob |

I used to enjoy watching the Spitfires, Hurricanes, Lancasters, Vulcans, and other Battle of Britain aircraft, down here in my part of Kent (Biggin Hill is only 4 miles away), I used to sit out on my balcony and watch the air show - a magnificent sight. |
