	Welcome to the boards Peter, to see original certs you would usually have to buy them ( you can order online from the GRO) but some parish records are online , for instance London marriages, baptisms, ( for a certain period) can be viewed on the LMA records on Ancestry. LancsOPC and Yorks are also useful online for births and marriages . If you say what names, area and date you are looking for, someone will help with what might be available

	Try freereg http://www.freereg.org.uk/ they probably won't have the items you are interested in but it is worth looking there first.
