BillinOz - the Kinema in Dunfermline; the Palais in Dundee; Continental in Dundee; the Palais in Edinburgh; Locarno in Glasgow; Barrowlands Dance Hall in Glasgow; Fairleys in Leith; Palais in Burntisland - all gone or redeveloped beyond all recognition, so it was goodbye to the Brylcream and Old Spice and the usual chat lines - You dancin? - You askin? :-( |

I am sad that Dunfermline’s most famous nightspot, the Kinema Ballroom, is now lying derelict and that it is not expected to re-open. |
