Last Sunday I soaked some black eyed beans and wheat berries. Through the week they have had several incarnations, hot- pot (ish), liqujidized for soup, soup as the sauce for pasta bake with crumbed bread ends on top and last night we were having them with the rest of the crumbed up bread ends and a couple of eggs and some sage as burgers when a friend brought me in some apples she had scrumped or something. |

Liver is the only thing I still miss from not eating meat and I didn't detect anything like it in the left-over left-overs burgers. |

Depends on the crumble...... I toast oatmeal (in a saucepan) & add it to the mix. Much nicer than the ordinary crumble. |
