Awful news today from Rotherham would seem to highlight our woeful lack of care of our own younger generation in the UK, ignoring for a second the ludicrous inability of the authorities to supervise our ports & airports to prevent miscreant unwelcome incomers.

No doubt Nigel Farage will have the situation under control by this time next year ;-)

Kay - yes the individuals in these 3 lorries were apprehended, that said, I wonder how many lorries entered th UK in the last 7 days, how many of these were stopped, and how many of these were not stopped.

In respect of those that were not stopped, It raises the question, were there any individuals trying to enter the UK illegally, hidden in those vehicles?

Never mind - the Home Secretary Theresa May, will be able to use the 3 lorries stopped with individuals trying to enter the UK illegally, to rebuff any allegations that our border controls are not working ;-)

I did not see AlphaOmega's post, however, this thread is not intended to be about what Jesus would have done, the origins of Islam, whether Mohammed would turn them away, or ISIS.

It is about 3 lorries carrying immigrants being stopped over past 7 days on the UK mainland, this despite, the Home Secretary Theresa May, giving assurances to Parliament on numerous occasions since 2010 - that the Government has introduced various measure to strengthen our border controls at entry points to the UK.

Sadly, the Government cut their budget. They in turn had to cut staffing levels.

And they cannot check every single car or lorry. It is logistically impossible. They would need 100s of staff at every port and airport.

The BBC has reported that today 13 suspected illegal immigrants have been found in a lorry at the Dartford Crossing.

Thirteen suspected illegal immigrants have been discovered in the back of a lorry at the Dartford River Crossing, police said.

Kent Police said they were called to a report of the discovery at about 11.30 BST and that one person has been taken to hospital after paramedics attended the scene.

Just what is going on, this is the 3rd lorry found on UK soil to be carrying illegal immigrants in the past 7 days, Theresa May the Home Secretary needs to stop blowing her own trumpet and get this ridiculous situation sorted out :-|
