Just been reading in the paper about a nine year old child who accidentally killed her gun instructor in America. The instructor was teaching her to fire a fully automated Uzi the recoil caused the child to loose her grip and accidentally fire again. When will people learn these are not toys. Why would any civilian never mind a child need a fully automated weapon.

Researching:
No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions, or outlawed or exiled. Nor will we proceed with force against him except by the lawful judgement of his equals or by the law of the land. To no one will we sell, to no one deny or delay right or justice.

Tragic news and gun laws in the US have always been a controversial issue :-(

Researching:
I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

Too much explanation & justification in the US about the right or otherwise to possess lethal weapons covers up something that’s better seen for the raw emotion it really represents.

It’s a pity that so much is done to destroy the pleasantness of youngsters' days.

Only in America!!!

I can't think of any reason that a 9 year old child would be trained to use an uzi.

trouble was ............................


the INSTRUCTOR had shown the child how to shoot 1 bullet from the Uzi ............... then HE set it on rapid multi fire.

The recoil from the first shot was enough to jerk the child's arm and behind .......... so the bullets still coming out hit the instructor.


There's a quite a lot of condemnation about the instructor did it



not so much about teaching a child of 9 to shoot :-S
