Can you tax the car without it being registered in your name , and doesn't that take time, or will you be able to do that instantly online. Or are they suggesting that you can just randomly buy a tax, and if it is the person who is taxed why can't he/she transfer that to their new car. Of course DVLA will make money from this as you have to tax from the beginning of a month no matter what the date but only get back full months |

I recall years ago, My dad getting my mum to traipse upto the council offices in stratford(not on avon) to get the tax for his bike, as he was at work all day.... |
