The hot matches you used to get did not take account of place of birth.

GR now test for that and consequently there are now only a small number of matches each time. They also only consider a limited number of entries each time the search is done.

Consequently everyone now only gets the occasional match.

You would get a better response to this type of question if you posted on the Genealogical chat board.

I finally worked it out, I found a drop down box with gedcom conversions,
so thank you for your advice and help,

I used to get heaps of hot matches all the time when I only had 300 names to my tree now I have 12000 nobody wants to know in over a month I have had no hot matches bit strange, I wonder if I have to put my tree on a different page now??

thanks for your help again.
Kind Regards Alan

ps I didn't tick the box last time so today is first read.

Hang on - are you asking how to upload a gedcom to GR? Have a look here

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/help/faqs?key=425

You may find that you loose notes and sources. It will definitely over-write your tree on GR.
