if anyone has been considering getting DNA testing done ... now is the time to do it for YDNA (male/surname line testing, the test that can confirm descent from a common ancestor, but only in the male line)

I added a post in the genealogy chat forum about the end of summer sale at FTDNA with savings that are well worth it (prices are always in US dollars)
