GeordiePride - when I was at college I worked partime as a waiter in a couple of Edinburgh's top hotels - I often used a version of the phrase "would you like a fork & knife" when I served certain things like cheese or fresh fruit - a version I could not quote on here :-D |

OFITG - It's a coincidence but a waitress in the dining room where I worked had a habit of saying "I will get you a fork and knife". We all used to laugh under our breath. :-D :-D ;-) |
