I still use soda crystals to clean my sink and bathroom drains. I also occasionally use them for generally wiping around - cupboards and suchlike. It's amazing how much dirt and grease they can shift. Sometimes the old methods are much better. :-D |

I put some bicarbonate of soda into the plug hole then I add some white vinegar. I leave it for awhile and it leaves the drains smelling clean. |

I don't recall them but my mum would use soda crystals doused in boiling water and allowed to soak down the pipes . |
