I HAVE A CONFESSION TO MAKE,AFTER NEARLY
TWO YEARS OF NO SMOKING I HAVE HAD A FEW
CIGGIES WHAT WITH THE PAIN FROM MY LEG AND OTHER AILMENTS,THEN PROBLEMS WITH THE MOTHER IN LAW
I JUST HAD IT AND IT WAS MY LAST RESORT A CIGGI
OR GO TOTALY GA GA.
TODAY MY OH IS MOVING HIS MUM TO A CARE HOME

SHE NEEDS TO HAVE SOMEONE WHO WILL MAKE SURE SHE HAS TAKEN HER PILLS,THE LAST EMERGENCY WITH HER AT THE HOSPITAL WAS BAD SHE PROMISED TO TAKE
HER MEDICATION BUT SHE DIDNT AND HOSPITAL SAID SHE
IS HEADING FOR A STROKE,BUT NOW HOPEFULLY SHE DOSE WHAT HER CARERS TELL HER,IT HAS PUT A MAMOTH STRAIN ON OH I TRY NOT TO RELY ON HIM ALL THE TIME
BUT HE WOULD VISIT HER EVERY DAY AND COME HOME IN A TERRIBLE MOOD I NEEDED TO STAY AS CALM AS POSSIBLE AND THE ONLY WAY WAS TO HAVE A CIGARETTE
I KNOW ITS WRONG ,BUT THATS IT,OH KNOWS AND IS NOW MAD AT ME,I WILL TRY AGAIN ,,,,PROMISE

Fags won't do you any favours Gwen although I can understand how events can stress you out .

Don't beat yourself up over a few fags ,just tell yourself it was a blip and you can go on from now fag free

Sometimes I wish I smoked when I am so het up I need something to calm me down, I don't drink much either and rarely at home so that isn't an answer, but when o.h. finally totters off to bed, I breathe a sigh of relief and break open the chocolate lol

I hope you can hold off from smoking more Gwen, as you know it isn't the answer in the long term, but don't beat yourself up over it, just make sure there are no ciggies in the house so you aren't tempted again.

Hope your ma in law settles in the home and will be a lot better taking her meds regularly so you o.h. isn't so stressed and worried about her.

I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"
