Elizabeth Cooke, St George's School Horsham

Seeking info on a cousin, Elizabeth (or Grace) Cooke who was a teacher (possibly principal) at St George's in the 1950s. I met her a couple of times when I was a child and only remember that she was very well-spoken and drove a grey Mayflower car. My father knew her before we came to England, so she was probably born in India. I have searched every record base I can find but no luck. If anyone has any info, I'd be grateful - date of death would give me a good start.

Are you sure the school was called St George's or if so are you sure it was in Horsham?

I used to lived in Horsham from about 1960 to 1970 and I don't remember it and I can't find it on line.

Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

Horsham is in West Sussex. Does it say where in East Sussex the school is Rose
