Is this something to do with the new Iceland ad on TV? The main character is referred to as Peter, and presumably well know.

As AnnC says, Peter who? And why are we expected to know him?? :-S :-S

steady Joy, steady :-D

He became "famous" just by putting himself about a lot, as did his ex Katy Price - as far as I'm concerned, neither of them merit much coverage

yes that's who i meant Peter Andre in the Iceland add on tv

normally the add says mums gos to Iceland but this time they have change it to peter
and peter is a dad he has i think 2 children of his own with Katie price
so why not say dads in stead of peter

and to be fare there are a lot of dads that do the shopping as well as the mums

Perhaps they are trying to attract the young, single, customer base?

Bearing mind that most 'celebrities' try to protect their children from the public gaze, not everyone would be aware that he has children. In the majority of cases, the mother is seen as the child carer, not the father.

Mother = main carer
Father = main provider

TBH, if they hadn't mentioned his name, I'd have assumed that he was some anonymous bit-part actor.

It will be interesting to see if their customer base changes as a result of their advert. Could they be targeting the new intake of Uni Students on a budget?

Island - glad you said it, not me ;-)

We did use our local one once - you got free parking in the centre of town if you spent £XX.

The prices were cheap, but I've no idea of the quality. I think we bought a box of choc-ices :-D
