As you liked the last one this one appears to be favourite to all who have read it..I saw an advert on telly one evening,,picked up pen and paper and wrote this in about 10 minutes...
MOBILE DREAMS
I saw an elephant fly,
And a pink one at that,
It wasn't alone as went through the sky
And it wasn't wearing a hat...

I saw a giraffe flying to,
It was a lovely shade of green,
I wondered what's going wrong at the zoo,
It's the funniest thing I have seen.

Then came the kangaroo,
It was absolutely distinct,
For it was such a lovely shade of blue
Where it came from I can't think.

Up there to was a bear,
All cute and cuddly and brown.
What was a bear doing up in the air,
It should be down on the ground.

I lay in my cot sleeping sound,
With all this above going on,
The mobile was spinning around and around
Playing me a soothing song.......

That's lovely Les and Mersey, I too love pink elephants. I used to collect them (ornaments, pyjama case etc etc and then people would say Oh I couldn't get you a pink one but I found this, so I have a huge collection of all different colours of elephants, large and small, wooden, metal, china etc and lots of clothing with elephants in the fabric design. Sadly a lot of the items are too small now but I still keep them.
