he comes across to me as

If I heard a noise in the night the first thing I would do is give the Mrs a nudge and say "Did you hear that?" not leap out of bed and grab a gun (If I had one) and fire shots through the bathroom door! :-S

Well...l am gutted to be honest, but expected this after yesterday :-0
To me he knew Reeva was in the toilet, and he used his gun in other incidents as very unlawful, l think he will be charged on one of those cases.

Remember he also used the cricket bat on the toilet door!!??

Mayfield thats exactly what OH said when it happened. We will wait to see what the sentence is going to be, there is no minimum sentence for manslaughter in SA .

guilty of culpable homicide then - sentencing to come - the judge said "it is the unanimous verdict of this court" - wonder what "unanimous" meant in this case as I thought it was her alone making the judgement

The judge has delivered the following verdicts:-

He was found not guilty of both premeditated and second degree murder.
He was found not guilty of firing a gun through a car sunroof.
He was found guilty of firing a gun in a busy Johannesburg restaurant.
He was found not guilty of illegal possession of ammunition.
He was found guilty of manslaughter (culpable homicide).

God...they have just said on the news that the Judge can fine and free him, even though found guilty of manslaughter!!

The judge will now need to assign a degree of negligence. The higher the negligence, the longer the prison term for the athlete. The maximum sentence for this charge is 15 years in jail.

just heard someone say "the judge and her assessors", so they do have a jury of sorts

l know the maximum is 15 yrs, but just wishing it was 25yrs.

Lets pray he does'nt just get a fine.

Ann...maybe thats the 2 people sitting each side of her?

It's not nice to advocate a jail sentence for anybody, but it is vital that justice is administered in some form, evenly and fairly for all.

A month to wait for sentence......

and l still wish it could be 25yrs, its not evenly and fairly for Reeva's family is it...

Yeh right, l think there would be an outcry if he did!!

Why did the barrister or who ever he was give out the address where Oscar is staying at whilst on bail and could go back to if he gets bail again....that seems abit unwise to me!
