It's been a gorgeous day - I love autumn, much better that summer ;-)

The deer was a little Muntjac, and their meat is really good, but not much room in the freezer - it's full of blackberries!

We got tons of blackberries this afternoon, and some apples growing wild (at least, I hope they were!), so lots of free food. Saw a dead deer, too, but my butchery skills aren't up to scratch! :-D :-D :-D ;-) ;-)

Fly,thanks for asking, she,s very very poorly,what with her osteoporosis etc and now partial incontinence ,she is very down hearted as anyone would be.but most of all its the way they treat people at the NHS.she was a very senior Nursing sister at Guys and various Hospitals in London.her opinion of it now is that you would get better and swifter treatment at a Vets. So we have to go the Private way,which is costly but better than waiting a year for treatment.take care. **M**
