I went to a CofE church primary school from age 4 to 11 ................ and we went to a church service every Thursday morning throughout the school year from age 7-11.

Even the 4-7 year olds, who were in a different building, went to the one held just before Harvest Festival ................ we had to take fruit or veggie and place at the front of the church


Mum always gave me a large marrow to take up there :-)

Wish I lived nearer... I'd buy a marrow or two from you.
Younger daughter loves them stuffed and it's an art choosing one of the correct dimensions to fit into saucepans, then oven-proof dish.

Could you use some of yours for base of curries, then freeze?
