Like many of our members I have used this census for many years however, my old computer, Windows XP, has gone chips and my new computer wont / cant access the Census. Does anyone know if there is suitable conversion kit available ??.

Thanks a million

A friend who used Windows XP has had to access all census now through Google Chrome.
This is a recent change within the last 2 weeks for her, with no warning.

Ancestry have been warning their customers about this change for months now.

It is down to Microsoft no longer supporting any of the older versions of Windows.

I failed to properly explain my problem with the 1881 Census.
I have a full copy of the Census as marketed by the Church of the Latter -Day Saints and whilst it worked on my old computer, Windows X P it wont work with my new computer and my question is to know if there is a conversion kit available for the CD Set.

Kindest regards

It looks as if there is a problem with the newer systems and I found this through Google (Nov 2013)....

I have the discs and I know they run fine with Vista but to be honest I haven't used them for ages.
