Have been in our house here in Oliva 11 years tomorrow and at moment we are having the upstairs bathroom refitted. Goodness me what a mess . why is it I always think these jobs will be easily done.. . WRONG yet again. It has been gutted and dust is everywhere. Good job hubby is retiring at the end of the week as I have told him he can help me clean from top to bottom . that will eep him out of mischief and stop him from getting bored. Still on the plus side we will have a super dooper bathroom.

Well Ann had 2 different days but once they arrived they do work hard even if it is only to 2 pm. Dont do afternoons apparently. Hoping it will be finished by next Wednesday as it is my birthday and hubby taking me away just for the day and night . But not holding my breath . lol

Oh Mary, been there done that. My late husband did the majority of the work while I was visiting family in England :-D. He didn't want me stressed, love him. <3

It will all be worth it in the end.

Researching:
Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

Had a problem around 2pm . somehow the workmen managed to lmocl off the electricity, Thankfully hubby came home just in time to sort it out . eventually as they say in Spain !!!

As you say Mary it will be worth it when they have finished. I don´t envy you mind, I am shuddering at the thought of having an electrician in for some outside work and then solar panels fitted, I couldn´t cope with builders again :-(
Hope they finish on time and you have a stress free birthday <3
