In my day, eating raw fish wasn't known as 'sushi' - it was known as 'poverty'!

I like my fish cooked! I don't even like raw oysters.

I really dislike the "trendy" thing, half-cooked fish in restaurants...... listed as "seared".

I remember the days when eating out was wonderful, we were spoiled for choice, these days I just settle for something I can eat!

I preferred going to the local chip shop for a large haddock cooked in batter - you can't beat a good old fashioned fish supper :-)

Mmmm chips!
Had to pop out yesterday around lunch time to do a little errand, stopped off at the chippy and brought in saveloy and chips, scored massive brownie points with the Mrs ;-)

I hate batter! Some shops get snarly if I ask them to just cook the fish, so I pick all the batter off!

I'm never surprised at the size of the fish inside.......... always MUCH smaller.

I am happy to try new things, but draw the line at raw fish (or meat). Sushi and sashimi should always be made with high-grade fish and prepared correctly but, due to its increasing popularity, this is not always the case. Anyone who's watched 'Monsters Inside Me' will avoid raw fish :-D :-D

We live in a really small town, with few shops..... but we have a sushi bar!

Friends tell us it's really nice, and we know sushi is more than just raw fish, but we haven't been to it yet.

The worst thing I've ever eaten is a sea cucumber. yucky yucky yucky :-(
