Mersey - I was making cakes for our village's Macmillan Coffee Morning tomorrow - lots of big chocolate cup cakes :-D

I won't be going though - it's hosted by the Mother and Toddler group, and being in a room full of little ankle biters is my idea of hell! :-0 :-0 :-D ;-) ;-)

Mum is having one tomorrow GiN at home for family and friends......I think its a lovely way of collecting something for a great cause and coming together as a group.......

Lots of cake all round I think tomorrow everywhere.....

I did have one or two lovely Portuguese custard tarts while I was on holiday - for breakfast! :-0 :-0 :-D ;-) - good thing I had my cholesterol test before I went, or it would have been much worse :-D :-D

They are gorgeous, though, and nothing like our English ones :-D

Now you have to tell me what they are like GiN, I was brought up as a little one on Manchester custard tarts, being as thats where Mum is from.....I could just eat one right now :-D :-D Look what you have started lol *licks lips* ;-)

They are very rich and sweet, smaller and flatter than ours, and the custard layer is quite thin. I think they use puff pastry. Best eaten warm :-D

Three weeks today, we are going to Lanzarote for a week :-D

We have hired a villa, like we did in Cyprus last year. No jacuzzi hot tub this time, though! :-( :-D ;-)

I loved Lanzarote GiN, the first time I went was at Dads friends Villa
in Matagordor, near the airport but it was great !! Then a few times
to Puerto Del Carmen :-D :-D gorgeous..... <3 :-D

We really like Puerto Del Carmen :-D

This time, we will be a few miles to the south, at Puerto Callero. I love going to the market in Teguise on a Sunday :-D :-D
