Dermot matey, the "Topic" was answered and over and done with.
Being as this is a Chat board surely we are entitled to carry on chatting? :-D

But, if Gins so wishes, I will delete all my comments, no probs.

C`mon Bob you`re not that naïve, you`re a motorist.

You must have seen the "swivel" sign a driver gives you when you pip your horn at them for failing to use indicators or not pulling off quick enough at traffic lights. :-D

Budgie Rustler Report 26 Sep 2014 11:26

:-D @ Gin`s "swivels"

Round here Gins if someone tells you to "swivel"... its nothing to do with taps. :-D :-D :-D

Gee

Gee Report 26 Sep 2014 10:44

Ooh, yes BR that's them!

Ann I wont be sending for one, my tap swivels so can move it!

Bobtanian

Bobtanian Report 26 Sep 2014 10:43

In the older days a tap was a tap,

not a designer water outlet!

Dermot

Dermot Report 26 Sep 2014 10:42

I remember attaching a double-ended rubber tube to the bath taps to act as a shower & very handy too for washing the hair on a Friday evening before going to the 'Hop' at the local dance hall.

No need now for such a contraption or a comb either since I resemble Homer Simpson more than Bobby Charlton in the 'head' department - if you get my drift.

I think it made the water flow streamlined so there was less splash back and spluttering when the tap was turned on.
