OneFootInTheGrave Report 26 Sep 2014 10:44

The UK's Passport Office is to be brought under Home Office control and made accountable to ministers, Home Secretary Theresa May has announced.

The decision follows a summer of chaos at the service which saw thousands of holidaymakers affected by a backlog in applications.

I wonder if the Home Secretary will re-organise it to make sure it is as effective as the departments responsible for our border and immigration controls - that she re-organised ;-)
