I sent contact lenses to daughter in the midst of the jungle in Guatemala. The Post Office said they offer a 5 day International signed for delivery for £9.99. I nearly fell down laughing BUT they got them there in 14 working days :-D

There is really no excuse for poor delivery to Europe.

You can plug an English USB keyboard into a spare USB port it will work fine.
If the laptop supports bluetooth you can use a full size bluetooth keyboard - no wired.

Replacement keyboards for elderly laptops are as scarce as hens teeth. Through normal channels you could be waiting for ever. Best bet is eBay it will cost £10-40. Most eBay sellers will ship to Spain.

They are very ez to fit 30 mins tops.
Lots of YouTube how to videos.

I suspect it might have been quicker if you had ordered it separately yourself. Hope it is with you before too long. :-)

Graham.
It´s not the cost of the keyboard that´s the problem.
As Tenerife Sun says, I´m in Spain.
Sorry, I thought that was clear when I said I was struggling with the Spanish keyboard on the laptop.
Don´t know what the availability is like in the mainland, but here in Menorca it´s pretty non existent.

Have you tried Currys? You can get keyboards in there for less than £6.

Sorry, It was a desktop I was given & it´s only about 3 years old.
My laptop is fine , but will probably need replacing in a couple of years, but as we are on a pension, am trying to make it last as long as possible.

These days you can buy a new laptop so cheaply, It makes me wonder if it's worth spending money on the old one. :-S

I was recently given a laptop. When it went to the workshop for an overhaul it emerged that it needed a new keyboard.
The computer is English & having struggled with a Spanish keyboard on my laptop, I ordered an English one & was told it would be with me the following week.
That was on August 21st.
I offered to pay the bill there & then but was told to leave it until the keyboard arrived & pay all in one go.
On Friday I recieved a reminder for the bill, so rang to ask whether the keyboard had arrived, only to be told "next week"
Where on earth is it coming from???
Taking Mañana to the extreme.
