About 15 minutes ago I rang friend's daughter to check on friend (she has terminal cancer) and discovered she came home from hospital last evening after two week stay.

Daughter was talking and dog barked and dau. said 'hold on' and next thing my friend is speaking to me for all of about 5 minutes. It was wonderful - we go back 60 years and last time I head her voice (although it was strong then and laughing)
was 30 July (my son's bi'day) when he sent her a bouguet.

I had to bite my lip hard as she sounded so weak but again better than she has been.

It is a good day today. Have to pass the news on to rest of my family. :-D :-D
