Off to do the washing up!

It's been sitting there for a few hours cos my Granddaughter 1 turned up. I was amusing her with Olivia Newton John clips online, cos she's big into Grease at the moment, and then I forgot!:-0

I'll need a scourer now :-| :-| :-| :-D

Emma went for her tea, Barb :-D

I've got a large slow cooker full of Vegetarian Bean Goulash brewing - my contribution to the food tonight, we're having jacket potatoes. :-D :-D

I wonder what's different in it this year?

I'm assuming we are talking about the Flu Vaccination?

I've never had one, but OH gets one every year.

GinN Report 4 Oct 2014 17:24

Poor Fly - it will probably put her off having it again next year :-( <3

BarbinSGlos Report 4 Oct 2014 17:22

Costly to start up then GinN, but will reap the benifits soon enough I'm sure.

:-D :-D :-D :-D

Emma my arm was sore for 4 or 5 days. But look what happened to Fly :-0 :-0 :-0

GinN Report 4 Oct 2014 17:21

Sorry to hear your injection was bothersome, Emma :-( - I must say I've found this one OK, with just a slightly sore arm for a day. They seem to be different every year, though I didn't bother to have it last year. :-) :-)

No, Barb - independent, it's a new concept. Not with the NHS, but affiliated to a hospital. She is having to buy all her own equipment, and take out appropiriate insurance. She will be with the client from the beginning until after the birth, or can give post natal support - whatever is needed. :-) :-)

South Wales is still here Barb ;-) :-D :-D

Cooler and very windy here now.

I'd love to do pub quizzes GinN :-) Though I'm not as quick coming to the answers any more :-D

GinN the last time you mentioned your daughter, you said she was hunting for a placement which was sooo difficult. Is she gonna be with the NHS ??

GinN

GinN Report 4 Oct 2014 17:10

Hya Jem - thanks :-D :-D <3 <3

We would be over there celebrating with her tonight, but it's our village hall quiz night, and OH is the quizmaster, and I'm on a team :-D

GinN

GinN Report 4 Oct 2014 17:08

Thanks girls :-D :-D :-D - she knew she'd passed, but didn't expect a first. She is now all set to become an independent midwife, one of only 170 in the country, though probably still attached to the hospital. All she needs now is her"pin number" to start practising. :-D :-D
