Glamorgan Family History Fair

I would love to have gone ..One great grandfather died in 1924 in Glamorgan + i want to know how to found out if he got buried in a jewish graveyard .

I would also have liked to attend. I was born in the Rhondda, and all my maternal ancestry is in the Vale.
As I live in North Wales, and for other reasons, it's not possible unfortunately.

I was working in Pontypridd a few months ago and the driver who took us out there got lost on the way home. I told him he was going the wrong way as we left Pontypridd; but we got all the way to Merthyr Tydfil before he beleived me. :-D He took us half the night to get home. :-(

The Glamorgan Family History Fair is being held on 11 October 2014 (next Saturday) at the Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Centre, Merthyr Tydfil, CF48 1UT

Free Admission and Free Talks

This popular annual family history event is once again taking place in the historic town of Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan. Did your Ancestors live in Wales?

Knowledgeable experts are available to help with all level of queries. Beginners welcome. A wide variety of stalls - exhibitors include Welsh and English family history societies, local history societies, military experts, family tree charts, ancestral tourism, genealogical services, old postcards, old maps, local and family history books, second-hand books as well as museums, libraries and local authority organisations.

There will also be four free talks during the day by experts.
