When DH came home I was scrubbing the cooktop....... because I had spilled honey on it, and the honey had burned..... a sticky hard mess. |

We have a glass hob with no knobs you just press buttons. OH says it is very ez to clean if you spill something on it. It has some kind of sensor which stops stuff boiling over. OH uses a lot of honey .. |

I wasn't very successful at getting the honey off....... there are two horrible marks on the cooktop, but it didn't stink when I used the hotplate. |

oh says she uses a special scraper which has a plastic handle but steel blade set at just the right angle. Ez to find most hardware stores low cost. And there I thought she had a very strong right arm. I was caught trying to clean it with steel wool and banished. For sticky knobs she says use white vinegar applied with a cloth. |

I use a spray cleaner especially for sticky bits, it's based (dunno how) on oranges. |

Scozz, you could have cooked the pasta in a large container in the microwave. |
