'New' scam, caution if you do use Netflix

Rambling Rose I get them from sites purporting to be from the bank I deal with, people really do need to be on their guard these days.

In respect of banks, they should always remember to only access their bank on line via the banks official website - they should "NEVER" access it via a link from an e-mail or another site - remembering that will save them a lot of grief and money.

I don't have a netflix account OFITG lol nor do I have HSBC or Santander account and those pop up in my spam from time to time as does another bank with which i do have an account but not a credit card as the email suggests ;-)

I regularly receive e-mails asking me to validate this or that on my Lloyds Bank A/C - I don't have a bank account with Lloyds :-S

"Validation failed

During a routine check of your account we have failed to validate the billing method we have on record for your account.

To continue using the Netflix service you will need to update/verify your billing information."

If you google 'Netflix scams' you will see it is just the latest in a long line.
