:-D :-D :-D I dread to think, Mersey! - but they are made from bits of butcher's scraps, smoked, forced into skins like sausages then boiled, I think!

Pease pudding, barb ...... it's made from yellow split peas, best boiled with ham stock and it's lovely - what I miss most not living in the North East :-( :-D ;-)
