Very sad, that she was not able to have her wish, of spending her last Christmas with her family realised, a very courageous and lovely lady, my memories of her will always be as Helen - James Herriot's wife in the TV series All Creatures Great and Small.

I have just finished reading her last book ""There's something I've been Dying to tell You""
She was so truthful in this book about how she felt and coped with her Colon Cancer and what she would have liked to have done before she died..

She wanted to travel with her hubby a bit more and she certainly wanted to live until January 2015 as she says she loved Christmas and wanted to spend a last Christmas with hubby,2 boys and her step children.

Rest in Peace Lynda, you have fought a good fight to stay with your family.

My Sincere Condolences to her hubby,2 boys,Grandson and her step children and grandchildren.

Such a lovely lady and brilliant actress.

I saw her on TV recently and mentally she seemed very strong and so brave.

So sad that she didn't have that final Christmas that she hoped to see with her family.
