	I think the good thing that might come out of this whole thing is that S.A. prisons may be cleaned up somewhat - they are horrendous places where torture and beatings take place - mostly on the dirt poor South Africans - a high profile inmate may change things for the better - let's hope so

	He can be considered for the equivalent of Parole in 10 months ie after serving 1/6th of the sentence.

	5 years and 3 to run concurrent poor reevas family they have a life sentence losing a child never goes away :-( :-(

	Judge Thokozile Masipa, who presided over the Oscar Pistorius trial, has sentenced Oscar Pistorius to 5 years imprisonment for the culpable homicide of his former girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day last year. http://www.itv.com/news/update/2014-10-21/oscar-pistorius-sentenced-to-five-years-in-prison/
	Researching: I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty.
