Is being held at the Woking Leisure Centre, Kingfield Road, Woking. GU22 9BA. Date: Saturday, 1st November 2014. Time: 10am to 4pm. Organised by the West Surrey Family History Society. One of the largest fairs held in the south of England. Held in 2 halls, one of the halls is dedicated to research and is full of local records offices and the famous Census Detectives, the best source of look ups you can find. The other hall is full of genealogy stalls and family history societies from far and wide, most of which have their stock of records with them, you can browse and buy anything you can think of to do with genealogy. Free admission and parking and a very nice cafeteria serving hot and cold food. |
